Even ‘Stranger Things’ Stars Love a Good El Paso Vintage Shop

At this point, El Pasoans should probably just expect to run into a random celebrity while going about their day. Seriously, you never know who you're going to spot in the Sun City!

Our latest celebrity visitor? None other than Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard! And while some celebrities might spend their time checking out fancy restaurants or tourist attractions, Finn decided to stop by one of Downtown El Paso's coolest vintage shops.

I respect the taste!

Stranger Things Star Finn Wolfhard Visits The Barrio Vintage in El Paso

On Sunday, October 11, The Barrio Vintage shared photos on Instagram showing that Finn Wolfhard had stopped by their Downtown El Paso shop.

The store, located at 210 S. Mesa St., Suite D, specializes in vintage clothing, unique apparel, and streetwear. It's the kind of place where you can find something with a little more personality than your average shopping mall purchase.

And clearly, Finn knows a cool spot when he sees one!

The Barrio Vintage kept things simple with their Instagram post, writing, "Thanks for stopping by," alongside photos of the actor.

It's always exciting when celebrities visit El Paso, but there's something especially cool about seeing them support local businesses while they're here.

Finn Wolfhard's Music Career Takes Him Across the Southwest

Of course, most of us know Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler from Netflix's Stranger Things, but acting isn't his only talent.

Finn has also been making a name for himself in the music world!

He previously performed with the bands Calpurnia and The Aubreys before branching out into his solo music career. In fact, he performed at Austin City Limits Music Festival on Saturday, October 10, and was scheduled to perform in Phoenix on Monday, October 12.

That's a pretty busy weekend for someone who also managed to squeeze in a little vintage shopping in El Paso!

Did Finn Wolfhard Make a Quick Detour Through El Paso?

While there's no official word on what brought Finn to the Sun City, the timing of his visit certainly makes it seem possible that El Paso was a stop between his performances in Austin and Phoenix.

And if that's the case, we have to give him credit for picking a pretty cool place to spend some time!

El Paso is certainly no stranger to unexpected celebrity sightings, and it's always fun to see which local businesses catch the attention of Hollywood stars.
