Live entertainment and concerts are coming back to El Paso and we're finally hearing about some new shows hitting the Sun City soon. After an entire year in the COVID-19 pandemic, El Paso venues are beginning to allow concerts and other live entertainment to begin again. One of our favorite venues in town is open and bringing the music and touring bands back into the Sun City.

Speaking Rock Entertainment Center has been having live music on their outdoor patio on the week again and it's been a great success. Masks and social distancing are still required as they slowly and safely begin back to normal.

Drowning Pool will be performing at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center on Friday, April 16th. Doors open at 5 p.m. and is free to attend. The show is 18 years and older and seating is on a first come first serve basis. Seating is limited so arrive early to guarantee your spot. Speaking Rock is located at 122 South Old Pueblo Road.

Find out more details at the Facebook Event page.

Drowning Pool was formed back in 1996 and the band has gone through a revolving door of lead singers since the tragic and sudden death of their first singer Dave Williams. Their most recent singer, Jason Moreno, has been with the band since 2012. The band has released six albums with their most recent being 2016's "Hellelujah."
