There's good and bad in Deftones latest major announcement. The bad side to this is that Covid-19 wrecked plans left and right for everyone. Some people including me were looking forward to seeing Deftones at Isleta Amphitheater this summer. It wasn't that long ago that Deftones released major news about postponing their North American Tour. Deftones postponed what would've been their Summer Tour 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Thanks to Covid-19 we won't be in Albuquerque next month or anytime soon at a Deftones concert. But if you're trying to find a bright side to Deftones postponement is that we now have something to look forward to. The way a lady counts down the days until her wedding day is what I do for a Deftones concert.

As you saw above they released their newly rescheduled North American Tour dates for 2021. So for their summer tour dates, Deftones were scheduled for August 5, 2020, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. But due to some changes, (all thanks to Covid-19) Deftones will be in Albuquerque on September 11, 2021. If we have waited this long to see Deftones I believe we can do a tad bit more of time waiting, again. The rescheduled date for Albuquerque has me wondering if they will make a speech about 9/11. The bright side to this is we will be able to enjoy Deftones concert comfortably and safely. I rather wait another year to see Deftones in a safe environment over them canceling their North American tour period. I have high hopes Covid-19 will be a thing of the past by September 11, 2021, and just a bad memory.
