The Beatles set the bar for writing and recording modern rock high. So high, in fact, they eventually got to a point where their recordings couldn't be reproduced live.

Not without an army of other people anyway. Once they began including orchestral, brass and other elements in the songs, the technology ... (and the budgets!) ... to get all the players together on stage in front of huge crowds didn't really exist. That, along with being sick of touring in general, took The Beatles off the road for the remainder of their career.

Now, the technology does exist and you can experience The Beatles music live, WITH all those different instruments, exactly as The Beatles originally composed them. "Sgt. Peppers" with the brass, "Yesterday" with the strings, "Get Back", with the keyboards, etc.... Not being reproduced through modern day, electrical trickery but, for real!
