When it comes to the top 10 best cities in the United States of America to live in, Texas placed twice in the top 10 and a few other Texas cities scored some "bests" too.

Niche's 2025 "Best Cities To Live In America" list placed two Texas cities in the top 10 and gave some love to a few other Texas towns. Niche looked at 230 cities and at least 18,000 smaller communities across the United States of America.

Texas scored in 2 categories ... best city in which to live and most affordable state ... with The Woodlands and Plano making the top 10 best cities to live in list.

The top 10 best cities to live in were chosen based on a bunch of different factors including cost of living, public schools and safety along with data from the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI crime statistics, the weather, user reviews and public records.

Texas Named Most Affordable State In The USA

Texas got a great review overall and was named the most affordable state to live in. Brownsville was the #1 most affordable city in the USA to live in with Wichita Falls, McAllen and Beaumont all making the top 10.

According to CHRON, the CEO and founder of the rankings and review site Niche, Luke Skuman said: "The site's rankings are intended to empower people to make informed decisions based on what matters most to them, whether that's great schools, affordability, or access to parks and local businesses".
