This fireworks display made by a Chinese artist is absolutely amazing!

A Chinese artist, Cai Guoqiang, has created a piece of artwork that is being praised all over the world and going viral. He called this creation "Sky Ladder," which reaches an astounding 1,650 ft. into the air. The ladder is made of metal wire and aluminum, then filled with gunpowder and suspended from a hot air balloon in the sky.

Cai Guoqiang created this firework as a tribute and thank you to his grandmother, who supported him and his dream of becoming an artist. Here's what Guoqiang told Chinese media about his grandmother earlier this year:

My grandma was born in a small fishing village in Quanzhou and sold fish to help her grandson realise his artistic dream

That dream paid off, Guoqiang is now one of the most famous and critically acclaimed firework artists in China. He also was one of the artists behind the fireworks display at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
