Fireworks In El Paso For The USA’s 250th Anniversary
El Paso City Council banned fireworks within the city limits again this year but there are still plenty of great fireworks shows going on that you and the fam can go see.

Fireworks are banned within El Paso's city limits but outlying areas in the county can still buy them. If you don't live outside city limits, or you're just too cheap or lazy to do your own fireworks thing, keep reading to see where you can go.
There are fireworks displays all over town this year and, since it's the country's 250th anniversary, things will be extra special. Outside city limits, you're, (probably), ok but some outlying areas may still have bans in place.

If you do want to do your own thing, you can buy and launch fireworks outside city limits and/or head for New Mexico. There are always a ton of fireworks stands in places like Santa Teresa, Chaparral and there's a big fireworks "super" store that's open year 'round at I-10 west and Highway 404 - aka the Anthony Gap.
