The Downtown Artist and Farmer's Market is celebrating National Farmer's Market Week and they're kicking off the celebrations this Thursday!

It's National Farmers Market Week and the Downtown Artist and Farmer's Market is celebrating and kicking it off this Thursday night. Join them starting at 5p.m. this Thursday, August 4th on the pedestrian pathway for tons of activities, vendors and more!

The Market has also partnered with Velo Paso for a window mural art crawl through the Downtown Arts District. Local downtown businesses will be showcasing various El Paso artists. Starting at 6:30, join the art crawl as it begins at the Pedestrian Pathway and continues on to Sparrow's, Golden Goose Tattoo, Gray Dog, the Pizza Joint and Craft and Social.

Check out the schedule of events for Thursday night's National Farmers Market Week kick-off:

Market Schedule
• 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. - More than 50 art, food, and produce vendors and community booths, food trucks, and free arts and crafts for kids
• 6:30 p.m. - Velo Paso departs Market for Pop-Up Window Mural Tour throughout Downtown Arts District featuring five local businesses and artists
• 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - Live Entertainment “Fandango” led by Carambola Community Music
• 5:30-8:30 p.m. - Cooking Demonstration and fresh veggie tastings

The Market will then be open at its regular time, Saturday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., at the Anthony Street location.
