Can El Paso Make a Bigger and Better Monster Taco Than This?

Tacos and soccer, two of my favorite things! Eating tacos at a soccer match, now we're talking!

FC Dallas' Monster Taco is going viral after it was caught being eaten on camera by Fox Soccer commentators, who only had this to say:

"Everything's bigger in Texas, including the tacos!" So true!

I won't lie, maybe it's the way the guy digs into it, but it looks delicious! And many in the comments agreed, but many also wanted an update on whether the guy was able to finish all of it!

Upon some further research, I found what the Monster Taco contains!

Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX. offers up this bad boy that is made up of a crispy 12-inch flour tortilla filled with shredded barbacoa, shredded cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream and hot sauce- it comes complete in it's own taco box. No word on how much it costs.

First of all, DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE FLOUR TORTILLA! Second of all DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE LETTUCE & BARBACOA!

I guess it would make sense that they have to use a flour tortilla for this Monster Taco, it's huge and a flour tortilla is probably sturdier than a corn one! But the lettuce and cheese? They need to rethink their toppings!

And that is why I believe that one brave El Pasoan can totally recreate a bigger, and probably a way better tasting, Monster Taco. I'm actually amazed that no restaurant has come up with one!

In the meantime, Jack in the Box has resurrected their Monster Taco in time for spooky season! (Jack in the Box tacos are delicious, I don't care what anyone says!)
