California Just Beat Texas For Best Tacos in the Country

First, the good news: Texas has the number spot for best place in America for tacos! Yay! But let's not celebrate too fast because apparently, California is the best state for tacos! The horror!

But how can this be? Well, this is all according to Real Estate Witch, who gathered so much data to try and determine where to get the best tacos in the country. They gathered Yelp ratings, Google Trends scores and the average number of taco restaurants per square mile. It sounds like they took this job seriously!

So while Austin is the number place in, not just Texas but the whole country, California beats us. How? Well, Texas has three cities on the top 15 of best places for tacos: Austin, San Antonio and Houston. The fact that El Paso isn't on there at all upsets me greatly, but I digress.

California beat us by have four cities in the top 15- making it, officially the best place in the country to get tacos. Which definitely sounds like we Texans need to correct that!

According to Real Estate Witch, Both Austin and San Jose, California have been wrestling for first place for the past few years. It truly is a battle of tacos when it comes to California and Texas- it's a battle we've been fighting for so long; who has the better Mexican food?
