Two Texas Cities are the Best for Trick-Or-Treating
When it comes to trick or treating, everyone wants to know where the best spots are! If you're in Texas and looking to fill your bag with treats, then you'll be happy to know that two Texas cities made the list of best places to trick or treat! Is one El Paso? We'll get into that in a bit!
Trick or treating is one of the best parts of Halloween. Aside from the costumes, the decorations and the horror movies, trick or treating is the one thing many look forward to every year! If you're in Austin, or Dallas, we'll you be happy to know that BobVila.com named these two cities one of the best places to trick or treat in the entire United States!
In the list of 24 best cities to go trick or treating, Dallas and Austin came in at number 18 and 21 respectively.
Dallas made the list because of their Lake Highlands neighborhood, where they say that you'll get to trick or treat in a neighborhood known for it's "prestigious hillside homes" which roughly translates to rich people homes with, possibly, full size bars!
Austin, which is already known for being quite an eccentric place, made the list for its Windsor Road neighborhood, which once again makes me think it's a fancy neighborhood where you're guaranteed to get some good candy!
You can check out the entire list here, and let me know if you were also shocked that Salem, Mass. did not make it to number one!
As for El Paso? Well, it didn't make the list of best cities for trick or treating; but I think those of us who live here know damn well that we definitely have our favorite neighborhoods where trick or treating is the best. I'm still on the hunt for the house on the East side that gives out Jello shots to people! If you know which one I'm referring to, please let me know in the App Chat!
