Best El Paso Neighborhoods for Trick or Treating
“Trick or treat, smell my feet give me something good to eat.”
There's no greater Halloween tradition than dressing in costume and going house to house demanding homeowners fill your plastic Walmart bag with candy. The trick to getting the best treats is finding the right neighborhood to pull off your legalized extortion.
And by that I mean the fancy schmancy communities with residents most likely to have the kind of coin it takes to purchase the good chocolates like Reese's Cups and Kit Kat bars.
Thank goodness for the real estate site Zillow. Their economic experts crunched the numbers to determine the best neighborhoods in El Paso to go doorbell ringing Halloween night.
The parts of town were selected using some kind of voodoo science that took into consideration several factors including home values, the number of kids of trick or treating age living in that area, and walk-ability -- meaning homes are close together resulting in less walking while you’re going door-to-door.
Click through the slideshow below to find out where in El Paso little boys and ghouls can score a bag full of goodies. As an added bonus, I've included a couple of areas in west El Paso not on the Zillow list that are All Hallows' Eve destination locations by fellow westsiders.
Have a safe and happy Halloween, and remember: taking your kids trick or treating is all the exercise you need to justify eating all their best candy.
