Bikers, get ready to roll Sunday and help Santa gather up toys for the needy children in The Borderland!

The toy run was originally started by a handful of bikers to help brighten Christmas for needy kids in a small area of El Paso.  Since then, the El Paso Motorcycle Coalition toy run/parade has grown exponentially!  Now, in it's 31st year, the run not only raises toys and funds for the kids but has also become one of the biggest spectacles of the year!

Bikers gather in the Upper Valley at International Truck Driving School beginning at 9:00am. (Food and drink vendors will be on site.  DON'T FORGET TO SET YOUR CLOCKS BACK AN HOUR SATURDAY NIGHT!!)

At 11:00am, it's time to roll!  The parade heads, under police escort, to Doniphan.  It follows Doniphan to Talbot, goes over Trans Mountain and ends at Cohen Stadium. There, you'll find plenty to eat and drink (beer and wine to!) as well as door prizes being given away and live rock from Sorry About Your Sister and Texas Roadkill!

Last year, the bikes stretched for miles!  As the first bikes were rolling into Cohen Stadium, the bikes at the end of the parade were still on I-10!!  There are many places along the route to watch the parade.  (If you want in on the end party and concert at Cohen but don't ride, you can register at Cohen Stadium starting at 11:00am.)

Registration is $10.00 plus a new toy valued at $5.00 or more  (Kids 10 and under only need the toy!)  Most people think of the little ones this time of year (ages toddler - 9 or so) but, please keep in mind, there are many underprivileged kids in the El Paso area between the ages of 10 - 17. Something to keep in mind when you select your donation item(s)!  :)
