The El Paso Animal Services animal shelter is at capacity and they are asking for the public's help to adopt or foster out 6 dogs before they're put to sleep. Lats night, the City of El Paso Animal Services put out an urgent plea to El Pasoans saying that a specific group of dogs haven't adjusted well to the shelter and are now on the euthanasia list. According to a post on their Facebook page:

"The shelter is a stressful place no matter how many playgroups or walks some of our pets are given, and these six pups just aren't doing ok in the shelter any longer. They've been at the shelter for several months and have never fully adjusted, and are now on our euthanasia list."

Animal Services is now asking if there is anyone who can either adopt, foster, or rescue these dogs to help save their lives. These 6 dogs have until 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 4th. If you or a rescue you work for can help with these animals, please head down to the City of El Paso Animal Services shelter. The City of El Paso Animal Services is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week. You can also call them at (915) 212-PAWS.
