A Quick History Lesson On UTEP’s School Of Nursing
It's an ego booster to know the history of your hometown college nursing program. This short video will give you a brief lesson on the history of Utep's School of Nursing.
Dayle Sharp published this video lesson in 2013 but the facts date back way past that year. The University of El Paso has really come a long way when you see the old photos above. Back then classes had less than 20 students but since then gained at least 80 more making up a class of 100. Not only did the student population grow but the actual school itself after so many years. It all started in 1898 when some nuns established a school of nursing so students can get hands on experience. Seeing the original School of Nursing then and how it is now shows you how so much has changed.
It never hurts to brush up on some history especially when it comes to the college in your hometown!
