A New Month Brings New Songs & A Q Exclusive From El Paso Artists
Sunday afternoons, 95.5 KLAQ brings you a two-hour block of the latest national rock releases & we shine the spotlight on rock from El Paso, regional rock & rock from around the Borderland. We call this block: Q-Connected.
After this week the show will take another break, due to the Cowboys broadcasts, so we'll hear some artists that are definitely ones to watch out for in 2022: like Saving Bandit.
Led by Hennah Elizabeth, a vocal coach at the El Paso music school Sound Stage 9, they released a new video around Halloween & you can check out the "fiery action" down below.
We also will have brand new songs from 2 local bands BEFORE they get released;
As Hope will have a new song out on Friday the 11th & The 1-800 will have their new song out on Monday the 14th & you'll hear BOTH new songs this Sunday.
You can hear 2 of their popular songs each down below.
We will also hear from Laserbrain, A Beautiful Rush making their debut on the show, the latest single from Las Cruces's Rivers Ventura & much more.
On the national side, we have one of the most iconic names in punk rock, Iggy Pop. Lately he's worked with Andrew Watts (who's done plenty of work with Ozzy Osbourne), Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers & Duff McKagan of Guns N' Roses.
You'll hear the new song, "Frenzy" at the start of the show. You can hear one of his previous singles before that down below.
If you're an artist from El Paso, you live or perform with 200 miles of El Paso, you can always send in your music right HERE or send me an email at Daniel.paulus@townsquaremedia.com
