Thanksgiving television episodes are some of my favorite. Okay, I know I said that in the Halloween episodes guide, let's just say that holiday episodes in general are some of my favorites (get ready for the Christmas episodes guide next month!). Thanksgiving episodes are usually very heartwarming, even for a sitcom most of them will have you tugging at your heart seams; maybe even have you shedding a few tears into your pumpkin pie.

There are so many TV shows to choose from that coming up with just seven was difficult. For the most part, these are all sitcoms. A majority of these could be found on either Netflix, Hulu or Prime, which should make it easier if you want to quickly find these episodes while waiting on the bird to cook. You can also check out the list I made last year on best Thanksgiving episodes! Grab some mashed potatoes and enjoy these seven great Thanksgiving episodes!

1) WKRP in Cincinnati- Turkeys Away

Probably one of the most famous Thanksgiving episodes of any television sitcom is this one from "WKRP in Cincinnati" titled "Turkeys Away" As someone who works in radio, if I didn't add this one- I'd probably be shamed. Most memorable quote: "As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!"

2) Cheers- Thanksgiving Orphans

This Thanksgiving feast among friends turns into the funniest food fight on television!

3) Bob's Burgers- An Indecent Thanksgiving Proposal

"Bob's Burgers" has become one of my favorite shows these last few years. Bob LOVES Thanksgiving, but when his landlord makes an indecent proposal, Bob must figure out how to celebrate his favorite holiday secretly with his family.

4) Brooklyn Nine Nine- Two Turkeys

If you're not watching "Brooklyn Nine Nine" you are missing out! In this Thanksgiving episode, Amy & Jake attempt to get their parents to bond over Thanksgiving dinner. Meanwhile, when Holt's Thanksgiving pie is stolen from his office, he searches for the culprit.

5) Seinfeld- Mom & Pop

I've slowly been watching episodes of "Seinfeld" here and there thanks to my cousin. This episode is of course filled with so many mishaps! George buys a convertible he thinks was once owned by Jon Voight. Kramer tries to save a small shoe-repair business. Elaine answers a radio quiz, enabling Mr Pitt to participate in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

6) New Girl- Thanksgiving IV

"New Girl" is one of my favorite shows that I could watch over and over. In this Thanksgiving episode, the entire loft is single so Schimdt initiates a "Bangs-giving" themed Thanksgiving dinner party, to which everyone must bring someone compatible for someone else. Hilarity ensues.

7) Superstore- Black Friday

"Superstore" is another great show that everyone should be watching! This episode gives us a look into how the crew all prepares and works a Black Friday sale! Unfortunately, they all come down with food poisoning!
