Eddie Vedder, perhaps as much as any musician, used his celebrity to rally the efforts to get the West Memphis Three a new trial. So it should come as no surprise that he's contributing music to the 'West of Memphis' documentary about the now free former death row inmates Damien Echols, Jessie Misskelley Jr. and Jason Baldwin. Vedder, who lent his song 'Satellite' for the soundtrack, spoke about the track in an exclusive video at Diffuser.fm.

If you bought your tickets for the April 17th Eddie Vedder concert at the Plaza Theatre, you're going to have to hold on to them a little longer. Eddie has some nerve damage in his arm which is preventing him from touring for a while until he's healed.

He's been going through rehab for the injury, and should be ready to go for the November schedule. Tickets for the April date will be honored in November.
