Warner Bros. Godzilla: King of the Monsters will wreak havoc on the big screen on May 31, kicking off a monstrous summer season. The films score will be composed by Bear McCreary who has worked on The Walking Dead, Outlander and Da Vinci's Demons for which he won an emmy! Most recently, McCreary has composed scores for Happy Death Day 2U and will be working on the upcoming Child's Play remake, all things that I am a fan of.

Add to that list, the score to Godzilla: King of the Monsters because McCreary has teamed up with one of my favorite singers, Serj Tankian of System of a Down. Together they created the cover song I didn't know I NEEDED in my life! It's finally happening because Godzilla will have the actual song "Godzilla" (originally by Blue Oyster Cult) in the soundtrack! Tankian announced it on Instagram:

As for the song? IT. IS. BADASS! Check it out below, feel free to put it on repeat until Godzilla: King of the Monsters hits theaters on May 31!
