El Paso, Texas is known as being a desert city but will soon gain something El Pasoans travel to do.

There are friends I know who love surfing and have to travel just to catch some waves. They would either travel to Florida or California to surf their heart away.

Well, the surfers in El Paso who travel to the waves can get their fix at any time.

Now we may only have lakes minus a beach that's nearby but soon will have something somewhat similar to it. The Oasis Water Park shared a tweet about their surf simulation machine coming soon.

On May 3, Oasis Water Park shared the great news about the surf simulation on their Twitter page (look below). In my opinion, the name of the ride fit perfectly since El Paso has had its fair share of flash floods.

So now local surfers will be able to get their surf on soon at Oasis Water Park.

One thing for sure is you know the line is going to be long as hell.

We all remember how new rides that would open at Wet N' Wild Waterworld would have the longest waits.

There could also be that possibility of people who are embarrassed about beefing it in front of others to see and maybe film. They're also still hiring for different positions at the park so if you're looking for a job, just click here.

If you have always wanted to know what it was like to get on board and surf, you can experience it for yourself without the sharks.
