As the temperate rises in El Paso, it's definitely the time to plan a trip to the water park. Wet n Wild Waterworld, Biggs Water Park on Fort Bliss or any of the four city water parks: Camp Cohen, Chapoteo Water Park, Lost Kingdom or Oasis Water Park. Now there's another water park El Pasoans can cool off in town; one on the west side.

Where is the water park on the west side of El Paso?

If you travel down Mesa, located in the Monticello area, you'll find The Elmont, 240 W Castellano. While there's no sign to say where it is, it's noticeable by the yellow & green water slide.

I had the chance to speak with the general manager of The Elmont, Adam Gautreaux, who gave me a tour around the place. It was here I was able to note of the rides they have at The Elmont. Like the swimming pool & mini splash pad,

and the lazy river that cuts through the backyard.

It's a little smaller but you can see how similar it looks to the one at Wet n Wild.

Adam also told me how big the water park is; about 95,000 cubic square feet. While it's not the biggest; it IS attached to the resort & there are talks of a restaurant and bar opening at The Elmont in the future.
