Will Fists Fly at This Year’s Media Softball Tournament in El Paso? Likely.

Have you ever wanted to see your favorite anchors and radio personalities duke it out? Well, now is your chance.

The fourth annual media softball tournament is happening this Saturday and Sunday at Cohen Stadium. Admission is free with a canned or non-perishable food item, which will be donated to the West Texas Food Bank.

Here’s how it’s going down.

Saturday:

Parks and Rec vs. Time Warner Cable at 9:30 a.m.

El Paso Times vs. KROD/KLAQ at 11 a.m.

A semifinal game will take place after both games are finished.

Sunday:

KVIA vs. KFOX at 9:15 a.m.

KTSM/KDBC vs.  Telemundo at 10:45 a.m.

A second semifinal game will take place after both games are done.

The championship is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

We’re not saying you need to come out and cheer for the KLAQ/KROD team, but maybe if you don’t, we’ll play Lady Gaga all next week. Just kidding... maybe. If you think watching softball isn’t your thing, consider this- a few punches were thrown in previous years. We’ll try to behave this time.
