Welcome Fall In the Mountains at the 2022 Apple Festival – What to Know If You Plan to Go
Families looking to welcome the change in seasons with a change of scenery can do so at the 2022 Apple Festival at Nichols Ranch and Orchards in New Mexico.
The celebration of a bountiful apple season at the family-run farm located in the Sacramento Mountains near Alamogordo will include live music, dozens of vendors, local breweries and wineries, and even a petting zoo for the kids.
Apples, Apples, Apples
The 2nd Annual Apple Festival, set for Saturday and Sunday, October 1-2, is all about the round, red fruit.
You're going to find apple pies, apple turnovers, apple butter, caramel apples, cider apple doughnuts, and apple cider. The ranch will also make the orchard available for picking your own fresh, delicious apples.
Vendors & Entertainment
The 2-day celebration will include 85 arts and crafts vendors, 20 food and drink vendors, beer and wine from local breweries and wineries, and live music from five different bands.
Activities for the Kids
There will be carnival games and other fun activities for the kids, including a petting zoo. And did I mention they can pick their own fresh, delicious apples?
