The U.S. Central Command released an awesome video this morning of an airstrike against ISIL in Iraq. CNN reports that the airstrikes took place around the city of Tikrit. The Iraqi Prime Minister's office requested help to get these 'difficult targets'.

In total 17 airstrikes took place yesterday. According to the news story, we knocked out three ISIS checkpoints, two bridges, two staging areas and a "command and control facility."

They hope these airstrikes will help run ISIL out of Tikrit. The overall plan is to take back the city of Mosul. Help is on the way, when 25,000 Iraqi troops return to win it back in April or May.
