Valuable Time Saving Information Enclosed

OK, today I thought it might be fun to post some news that might actually be of some use to you!  The next couple of days (mind the date now .. today is Jan. 5th ok??)  there will be a bunch of traffic issues in the northeast.

Specifically, where they are working on the new "spur".  Here is a list of the closures that will .. in theory .. help you avoid them!

SPUR 601 east, between Chaffee Road and the Airport Overpass, from 9 a.m. to 4p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

--The south right lane on Railroad Drive, between Marshall and Fred Wilson, closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Saturday.

--Alternate lane closures on Gateway North and Gateway South between Fred Wilson and Broaddus.
Expect alternate north and southbound lane closures on Marshall Road, between the Fred Wilson Service Road and Railroad Drive, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

--The eastbound Marshall Entrance Ramp on Spur 601 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.

 The following daily closures will be in effect 9 a.m. to 4 p.m until Jan. 15:

--Right lane south on US 54, between Hayes and Pershing.

--Alternate lane closures on Railroad Drive north between Gateway North and Marshall.

--Southbound Fred Wilson Exit Ramp on US 54

The following northbound closures will be in effect 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday:

--Ellerthorpe Exit Ramp on US 54.

--Right lane on US 54 between Fred Wilson and Ellerthorpe.

--Right lane on US 54 between Trowbridge and Altura.

The following closures will continue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily until further notice:

--Left lane on Gateway North, between Railroad and Ellerthorpe.

--Alternate lane closures on Gateway South, between Ellerthorpe and Cassidy.

--Alternate left and right lane closures on Spur 601, east and westbound, between the Airport Overpass and US 54.

--Alternate north and southbound lane closures on US 54, between Cassidy Bridge and Broaddus Bridge.

--Alternate north and southbound lanes on Railroad, between Gateway North and Marshall.

--Alternate left and right lane closures, east and westbound, on Fred Wilson, between Airport and Dyer (BU 54).

--Complete Closure of the southbound Pershing Exit Ramp on US 54
