Truck Slams Into 2 Guys Near El Paso, Texas

Two men are expected to survive after being struck by a Ford D-150 during the Fourth of July weekend.

The incident occurred in a desert area right outside of El Paso, Texas. A witness spoke to KFOX-TV saying,' The F-150 was coming in pretty fast, he didn't even slow down, and hit the two guys that were walking by. I started running over there to try and help them out. I called 911 and I was put on hold for five minutes.'

According to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office both men suffered serious injuries but are expected to survive.

No word on charges against the driver of the truck.
