This Week In Headaches- Major Road Closures In El Paso This Week

We all know that there will be another major closure on the westside this weekend, but find out what other congestion is headed your way this week. The westside of El Paso has been giving people headaches for years now as continued improvements to the roadways have caused closures, congestion and more. This past weekend there was a major closure on that side of town and get ready, because it's happening all over again this coming weekend. Take a look at some of the major closures coming this week to El Paso roadways:

I-10 at Sunland Park

Friday, May 11 at 9 pm- Monday, May 14 at 6 pm

• I-10 COMPLETELY CLOSED in both directions at Sunland Park entrance and exit ramps
• Sunland Park Drive South CLOSED between South Mesa Hills and Paisano Drive
• Sunland Park Drive North overpass CLOSED
• I-10 East Sunland Park Drive Flyover overpass CLOSED
• I-10 East Resler Entrance ramp CLOSED

I-10 West at Sunland

Monday, May 7- Thursday, May 10 (9 pm-6 am nightly)

• I-10 West CLOSED from Sunland Park exit and Sunland Park entrance ramp
• Sunland Park Drive south CLOSED at South Mesa Hills
• Sunland Park Drive north CLOSED at Paisano Drive

North Mesa Street 

Monday, May 7 - Thursday, May 10 (9 pm-6 am nightly)

• North Mesa Street reduced to one lane between Osbourne Street and Remcon Circle

Doniphan

Monday, May 7 - Thursday, May 10 (9 pm- 5 am nightly)

• Doniphan CLOSED both directions from Paisano to Racetrack

I-10/Americas - Phase IV Project

Monday, May 7 - Friday, May 15 (8 pm- 5 am nightly)

• I-10 West CLOSED from Eastlake to Lee Trevino
• I-10 West Eastlake Entrance ramp CLOSED
• I-10 westbound to Loop 375 northbound connector CLOSED
• I-10 westbound to Loop 375 southbound connector CLOSED
• Loop 375 northbound to I-10 westbound connector CLOSED
• Loop 375 southbound to I-10 westbound connector CLOSED

I-10 at the Fountains

Sunday, May 6- Thursday, May 10 (9 pm- 5 am nightly)

• I-10 West from Viscount to Airway Blvd CLOSED

I-10 at Copia/Cotton

Sunday, Sunday, May 6 -Thursday, May 10 (9 pm- 5 am nightly)

• Lane closures on I-10 West from Copia to Cotton
• I-10 West Piedras Exit and Entrance ramp CLOSED
