This Texas Latina Won Halloween With Her Bloody Chancla Costume
A fear that many children grew up with, this makeup artist from South Texas created an epic "bloody chancla" Halloween look. While some scary costumes for Halloween are vampires, werewolves, monsters one woman from South Texas really tuned in with many Latino children's fear- the chancla.
Yvette Gonzalez is a make-up artist and blogger from Donna, Texas and a day before Halloween she debuted a new make-up look that's gone viral. The 24-year-old posted the photos on her page, Lifeasyvette, for her "16 Days Till Halloween" looks. The photos have been shared over 22,000 times and commenters are loving the childhood trauma-inducing look. Some of the 4,800 commenters told the young woman that this look was a true Hispanic Halloween costume.
