Action movie fans were excited to find out this movie superstar was spotted at a southern New Mexico hotel. Since the movie industry has ramped up filming in New Mexico, locals have been excited when they can a glimpse of a Hollywood A-lister in the area.

Back in the Fall, there were several celebrities that were seen around town filming various upcoming projects. We told you un October action stars Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson were seen filming two different new movies and in November actors Ryan Phillipe, Sam Ashghari, and actress Kate Bosworth were all spotted filming in the Las Cruces area.

Now, there's another action superstar who's been spotted in the Land of Enchantment. Tyrese Gibson is known as a model, author, R&B singer but he's also a successful action movie star. He's starred in the action film Four Brothers alongside Mark Whalberg and played Robert Epps in the Transformers movie franchise. Tyrese is most widely known for his role as Roman Pearce in the Fast and Furious movie franchise.

Tyrese posted on his Instagram story a video of him listening to music while in a hotel room. Eagle-eyed New Mexicans were quick to spot that the inside of his hotel room looks like rooms at the Hotel Encanto, a hotel in Las Cruces.

From there, his Instagram story showed him on the set of a movie, watching a stunt actor be set on fire and then extinguished. While we can't tell exactly where this scene is being filmed, you can hear the actor who is speaking in Spanish.

Tyrese has been writing for a new movie called Desert Eagle which is described on IMDB as:

"Two border patrol agents' investigation of a drug cartel leads them to a casino on a Native American reservation."

Judging by the summary, New Mexico would be the perfect location for this movie to be filmed. Tyrese has been busy recently, appearing in the upcoming new Marvel superhero film Morbius.
