The West Texas VA Health Care System is looking to expand its team and is now hiring. The West Texas VA helps provide healthcare for veterans in the West Texas region. Some of the services provided include dental, nursing home, hospice, nutrition and food services, suicide prevention, pharmacy, and more. The West Texas VA is able to help veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, in need of substance abuse treatment, and other issues. The West Texas VA Health Care System serves more than 56,000 Veterans in 33 counties across West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. On average, the WTVAHCS system of clinics has over 170,000 outpatient visits a year.
