The El Paso Animal Collaborative is teaming up with Alamo Drafthouse for a fundraising event focused on pets! Plus, you can meet Tubby, the Mosho mascot. "The Secret Life of Pets" is a wonderful movie about the value of friendship between our four-legged friends. The movie's sequel is about to come out and the El Paso Animal Collaborative is having a special showing of the new film to fundraise and celebrate our love of furry friends. The El Paso Animal Collaborative is a section of the El Paso Community Foundation and brings together various animal organizations in the city to discuss animal issues in the city. The groups work to figure out solutions and help El Pasoans of the furry kind.

Currently, the group is working on these two initiatives:

  1. “Animal 915”, a one-page document to improve communication with the public and have consistent messaging across all organizations.
  2. A collective pilot project that will make the group eligible for larger grant monies that can be utilized for future projects.

This fundraiser will be taking place this Wednesday, June 5th starting at 5 p.m. the movie will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are available now for $20 through the El Paso Animal Collaborative website.
