Only One El Paso Restaurant Made it to Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in Texas

One El Paso coffee shop has proven they are not only one of the best in El Paso, but they're also one of the best in all of Texas!

Yelp has come out with their 100 Top Places to Eat in Texas and, this year, Savage Goods made their official list!

Texas is a huge state and some feel like 100 isn't enough! To determine the top 100, Yelp says they:

Identified businesses in the restaurants category on Yelp, then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews between January 1, 2021 and May 1, 2023. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of May 1, 2023.

On the list are spots from cities you would expect like Austin, Houston and Dallas. And yes, our El Paso gem landed on the bottom of the list (like, number 100) but it made it on the list!

Savage Goods, located at 1201 N. Oregon, has a four and a half star review on Yelp; and if you've ever been- you know that it definitely deserves that other half- especially for that Breakfast Burger that is my absolute favorite!

Savage Goods is run by a family trio whose last name is Savage (what a cool last name!). The Savage trio started out at a humble stand at the Downtown El Paso Artist & Farmer’s Market. They were a hit, obviously, and in 2017 they opened their doors to the community and have been serving up smiles with their delicious treats and their attention to detail!
