The El Paso Film Festival is changing with the times so the show can go on but from the comfort and safety of your own home. Since we're still dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, the El Paso Film Festival has adjusted the way they will be reaching their audience for this year's movies. Starting on October 16th, the 2020 programming line-up will be available for people to view. You can see all the films that will be available on the El Paso Film Festival website. New this year, the El Paso Film Festival has launched a streaming channel that is available on various smart devices including Apple TV, Roku TV, and Amazon Fire TV.

Carlos Corral, the artistic director of the El Paso Film Festival is excited for the new virtual element to the film festival and points out how El Paso Film Festival is one of the forerunners of this:

“I don’t know too many film festivals that are using streaming TV channels to engage with their audiences. It’s the best way to enjoy our 2020 festival season, all from the comfort and safety of your own home.”

Due to the uncertainty around the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival made the difficult decision to cancel any in-person viewing of the films. The El Paso Film Festival says their first priority is to ensure the safety of the filmmakers, actors, and audience. The El Paso Film Festival website will also have easy How-To tutorials to help people access the content through their smart home devices. To view the list of local, regional, and national films in this year's El Paso Film Festival, please visit the website. The films will be live for your viewing pleasure from October 16th through October 25th.
