Birds Overtake Texas Parking Lot Like a Hitchcock Film
If there's one thing I know it's horror movies, and this parking lot in Cypress, Texas definitely looks like it's straight out of a Hitchcock horror film!
We all know that movie "The Birds" right? Where birds suddenly began to attack a small town? Well, that's the only way to describe what happened in Cypress the other day!
I don't know what it is about the sound of a black birds caw, but when you hear it, it can send shivers down your spine! Now, imagine a parking lot full of those caws on a cold dark evening? That was the exact case when Yvone Gomez recorded a ton of birds just casually hanging out in a parking lot one night!
Check out the video below:
As you can see, the birds seem totally unbothered- and Gomez told Storyful that they didn't even flinch when she honked or when people walked near them!
Now, I have to admit, I do love a good bargain at Ross and Marshall's- but do these birds love a good shopping deal or are they up to something more sinister? Yeah, probably not.
According to Fox Weather, these birds are known as great tailed grackles and can be found in areas inhabited by humans and trees. Another reason they like to just hangout in parking lots like this? It's easier access to food- you never know when someone is going to drop some fries!
The birds eventually dispersed- probably following the smell of the nearest Whataburger. Luckily, no one was injured and no children were chased out of a school!
