The new year has arrived and for many, that means it's time to bust out the new year's resolutions; and in Texas, there seems to be one resolution that has made it to the top of everyone's list!

As many Texans prepare a new list of resolutions, it's clear that health and fitness are a top priority! And in a new survey by MattressNextDay, they found that many Texans are making sure that in 2025, they're staying hydrated!

According to the survey by MattressNextDay, the most popular new year resolution for Texans overall is to drink more water; 57% of respondents say they plan on prioritizing drinking more water in the new year.

It seems like it's such an easy goal- drink more water. However, several studies show that Americans are not drinking enough water! Many experts suggest women drink about eight to 10 cups of water daily and men consume 10 to 12 cups, but still, more than 50% of Americans don't meet the recommended levels!

What is so hard about drinking more water? It's certainly much easier that the other top new year's resolutions like quitting smoking or drinking! Experts have many tips that can help you drink more water. Some include adding fruits, but probably the best tip is to just make sure you have a water bottle near!
