Texas Justice! Woman Shoots at Fleeing Purse Thief

Snatching a woman's purse is always a bad idea, but it is a terrible idea in Texas where we proudly carry guns.

A Waco, Texas, Walmart was the setting for a crazy scene when a purse snatcher tried to flee and a woman with a gun was able trip up his escape.

A purse-snatching was in progress when a woman in a truck saw what was happening and parked. She pulled out a handgun and pointed her firearm at the suspect, Andre Dawson, while he was being apprehended by two men. Dawson was able to escape the men and began running away. The woman shot at the Dawson and frightened him, making him trip and stumble to the ground. Her shots don't make contact, but they were enough to allow time for the other men to capture the suspect again.

Police then arrived and arrested Andre Dawson at the Walmart.  Police have said they would like to speak with the woman about the incident. I'm hoping it is to thank her for her use of her firearm to protect people.
