It all started when a kind soul on the Amarillo Pet Lost & Found Facebook page, posted a picture of a dog who was in major need of some help. Unfortunately, the original poster, Rebecca Latimer, didn't have the funds to get the dog the help it needed and asked for some advice.

However, the dog looked familiar to someone- and they believed it was their dog... who went missing seven years ago!

Brittany Simpson wrote that the dog went missing seven years ago, they believe someone stole him from their front yard. She also posted a photo and many agreed, that had to be her dog!

Soon after, Brittany was reunited with her dog, named Rugger, and gave everyone an uplifting update!

Despite the several issues the dog has, it looks like he has happily returned home after seven years to the family that loves him!
