Ok...before you go crazy and buy snowbird repellant or snowbird-proof your home. "Snowbirds" are those northern people looking for an escape from the snowy winter weather. Florida has always been a big destination for Snowbirds, but Texas is catching up.

Starting a fire with little or nothing seems to be a common problem for a lot of us.

After an insanely hot summer, the always reliable Farmers Almanac says Mother Nature is going to turn the tables on us come Winter.

In case you missed it, parts of Texas are dealing with some pretty crazy winter weather. From snow, to icy roads, this winter storm is causing road conditions to become very dangerous, flights have been canceled and schools are making the decision to cancel classes as well.

El Paso may be in the desert but we do occasionally get snow. One year, we got a you-know-what load of it.

Warming centers are also set to open up across El Paso to help those that may not have a working heater.

Can we just get some seasonable weather around here?

Spring has gone into overtime here, keeping our fall pretty mild. Cooler temperatures are on their way though and many El Pasoans need blankets.

When it rains in El Paso it really pours and can take a toll on some drivers.

We're always leaving things in our cars overnight or while we're having dinner, shopping, etc. When it's really cold though, that's not always a good idea.
