I've been looking forward to Balloonfest Saturday ever since I found out about Tremonti being signed to play. I think he's an underrated guitar player, and a fantastic songwriter.
Mark and his band didn't disappoint, either! They hit the stage with some serious chops, and ferocity that I love to see a heavy band have. They really enjoy playing these song, have a lot of skill on their instruments,
Mark Tremonti and The Tremonti Project rocked the first day of Balloonfest this year. See the photos below.
A few lucky fans got to meet the band after.
Okay, that sounded a little weird. Not actually a part of HIM has arrived, but his gear has arrived. For the first time I can remember in Balloonfest history, one of the bands has shipped their gear to us!
Usually we just find scraggly-looking musicians, struggling with gear coming off the baggage carousel at the airport, hoping for either a vegan meal or Whataburger.
Mark Tremonti has his new album, "All I Was" out, and has hit the road in support! He put together a little band tat also features one of his friends, and son-of-a-famous-guy Wolfgang Van Halen on bass! There's a little of the rehearsal, sound check, and preparation for the first show. There's even a "Ronsoning" at about 2:15! That Ronson affects everyone!
