Despite the violence Juarez has been dealing with, Juarez officials are hopeful that they can continue to promote Juarez as a “Safe city” again and they are inviting U.S. residents to a festival to honor Mexican music legend, Juan Gabriel.

FC Juarez will wear a special limited edition black and gold jersey commemorating legendary Mexican singer Juan Gabriel on February 5th when they host Chivas.

The Wall of Fame features over 90 celebrities that the Hotel Paso Del Norte has hosted over the last century.

Juan Gabriel fans have quite the spot to cherish the late Latin singer.
