Many of us have had something go wrong when it came to popping our own fireworks.

Here's a little homemade chemistry lesson for you. What do you get when you mix in a little too much magnesium into your sulfur-potassium-magnesium firework? You would get what happens here. The reaction was apparently big enough to change this guy's shirt and turn his lights back on, but it's still pretty funny!

Stay classy, San Diego. You could be frustrated because you came to San Diego Bay early to get a good spot, spent the whole day waiting for the big fireworks show, then, after a glitch fired off every last rocket in one 15-second burst, spent two hours looking at taillights just to get out of the parking lot. Day 1 of  Streetfest 2012 has officially come to an end and the party was even bigger and better than we expected it to be, with Saliva, Filter and Theory of a Deadman rocking out on the main stage.
