Time again to Rock The Fort folks. This year, we'll be doing it with Candlebox, Hoobastank and The Animal In Me along with local rockers Andromeda Theory and Fall 2 Rise.
Now in its sixth year, the annual Rockapalooza Festival is set to invade the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Jackson, Mich., on June 22, kicking off on June 21 with a free pre-party.
The El Paso Downtown Streetfest was a huge weekend for El Paso with thousands of El Pasoans and Las Crucians (is that right? Las Crucicans? Las Crucianites?) congregating in downtown El Paso for two nights of fun stuff to see, great food, and amazing concerts from Theory of a Deadman, Candlebox, Filter, Kansas, Saliva and Blue Oyster Cult!
After the fireworks on Saturday, June 30th, Candlebox hit the stage and made sure everyone was worn out by the time they left the Streetfest! Kevin Martin and the gang rocked through their hits and everyone in the crowd was singing along and rocking with the band until late, celebrating the weekend with thousands of El Paso and Las Cruces friends!
Kansas hit the stage shortly after Blue Oyster Cult on Saturday, June 20th, and proved to everyone there why they're still around, kicking ass all over the world! They hit the stage with Magnum Opus and really got the crowd pumped up with the harmony parts between the guitar, violin and keyboards, and then kept things going with all the songs people were singing along to throughout the show!

Blue Oyster Cult kicked off the second day of the El Paso Downtown Streetfest, showing everyone how things are done at the rock show! They came right out with rockin' songs, screaming solos and vocal harmonies to show that they still have it, cowbell or no cowbell! They've got your prescription, and yes, the cowbell IS there!
What's best about Streetfest is what's best about summer -- hot babes, cold beer, great food, cool rides, and soundtracking it all to an awesome tune. The Streetfest Slowdown for the second night of the big party has all that and more!
