- Men plan to spend about twice as much as women.
- Engaged people spend the most, dating people spend the second most, and third most is spent by married couples.
- 7% of people say that there is no limit on the amount of money they will spend on themselves.
- 6% of people have spent more than $500 on a Valentine's Day, while 7% of people have never spent a dime.
