There has been a large amount of event and concert cancellations and we're sad to bring you another one. This week has hit the music touring industry hard and it seems like every hour we are hearing about more and more concerts canceling due to the Coronavirus pandemic. This is a worldwide trend with many tours unable to get through their tour routing due to various venues having to close and worry for their fans' safety. Unfortunately for the borderland, this does include various concerts that were happening.

This morning Speaking Rock Entertainment Center announced that they would be postponing the Queensryche and Vixen concert that was scheduled for this Saturday, March 14th. They have also postponed the Midland concert that was set to happen at Speaking Rock. According to officials at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center:

"We are making these decisions to keep the health and safety of our customers and employees as our top priority."

Speaking Rock also said they are working with the bands to reschedule their performance for a later date. For more information, please visit the Speaking Rock Entertainment Center website, Facebook page, or call them at (915) 860-7777.
