Slash Previews ‘You’re a Lie’ Music Video
Slash Fearturing Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators have posted a minute-long teaser for the upcoming music video for ‘You’re a Lie,’ the lead single from their soon-to-be-released album ‘Apocalyptic Love.’
Where most bands of today would’ve laid down tracks in Pro Tools and called it good, Slash & Co. walked the forgotten path of live recording when laying down the new album ‘Apocalyptic Love.’ “Most recordings are usually done in stacks and layers. With this it was just — bang! The whole spirit of this thing was all four of us playing together, captured all at once,” explains bassist Todd Kearns.
The newly posted teaser for the ‘You’re a Lie’ music video showcases the band performing the song as they recorded it at producer Eric Valentine’s Barefoot Recording Studio. ‘Apocalyptic Love’ is the follow-up to Slash’s 2010 self-titled solo debut and will be released on May 22.
