Carlsbad Caverns wants you to prove it!

The annual Rock of Ages Historic Cavern Tour is coming up and they need singers!!

Auditions are this Saturday (12/1/12) starting at 6 p.m. at Carlsbad Caverns National Park.

Solo performers and small ensembles are welcome and have to sing the first two verses of "Rock Of Ages".  (The hymn ... not the Def Leppard tune.)  3 winners will be chosen; for more information, call Park Ranger Pam Cox at 575-785-3131.

"Lantern tours" of the caverns are coming up soon also so you can explore the caverns as the original explorers did.  Without modern day lighting!!  THAT actually sounds like a reeeeealllllly cool tour.  I may go up for that myself!  During summer, the bat flight is also a lot of fun!
