Scheduled Road Construction And Closures For El Paso This Week

While the city is ecstatic the Border West Expressway is finally open, there is still quite a lot of construction happening on El Paso Roads. We've finally seen some of the major road projects coming to a close, and the improvements are making the commutes home better and better! Still, there are some projects that are just getting started or are getting the finishing touches. To make sure you're not stuck sitting in traffic due to construction on your commute, you've come to the right place. West Area Closures

Zaragoza Overlay Project

Fri, June 5 - Wed, June 10 (9 am - 4 pm)

• Zaragoza northbound/southbound from North Loop to Gateway East alternate lane closures.

Wed, June 10 (9 am - 4 pm)

• I-10 WB at McRae on-ramp closed.

Mesa Park Interchange Project

Sun, June 7, 4 a.m. - Mon, June 8, 6 a.m.

• I-10 EB at Sunland Park complete closure.
• I-10 EB lanes at Underpass Span #3 from Executive to Sunland Park complete closure.

Mon, June 8 to Sat, June 13 (9 pm - 6 am NIGHTLY)

• I-10 WB at Executive complete closure.

Sunday, June 21, 4 a.m. to Monday, June 22, 6 a.m.

• I-10 EB at Sunland Park complete closure.

Mesa Rehabilitation Project

Mon, June 8 - Fri, June 12

• Mesa northbound from Baltimore to Brentwood alternate lane closures.

Sunday, June 7 through Thursday, June 11
Nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Mesa southbound lanes between Balboa and Festival complete closure.
• Mesa southbound cross streets between Balboa and Festival closed.

I-10 Connect Closures

Sun, June 7 (9 pm - 5 am)

• Westbound US 62 (Paisano Drive) will be closed to all traffic between US 54 and I-110.

Mon, June 8, and Tues, June 9 (9 pm - 5 am NIGHTLY)

• Westbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic at Piedras Street.

Mon, June 8, - Wed, June 10 (9 pm - 5 am)

• Northbound US 54 will be closed to all traffic between Loop 375 and I-110.

Wed, June 10 (9 pm - 5 am)

• EB I-10 will be closed to all traffic at Piedras Street.
• Ramp A which connects WB I-10 to northbound US 54 will be reduced to a single lane.

Thurs, June 11 (9 pm- 5 am)

• Eastbound Interstate 10 will be closed to all traffic between Copia Street and Raynolds Street.
• Ramp A which connects westbound I-10 to northbound US 54 will be reduced to a single lane.
