Scheduled Construction And Road Closures For El Paso This Week

2019 may have just started but that hasn't stopped the continuous construction and road work happening. Find out what closures are coming. Doesn’t matter when you’re traveling through the west side of El Paso, it looks like congestion is going to be an issue. Even the east side isn’t immune to traffic and headaches. With road closures, lane closures and more, El Paso traffic is getting worse before it gets any better. There will be some major freeway and road closures happening this week so make sure you are aware so you don’t get caught stuck in traffic.

I-10 Westbound

• March 4 and 5 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. DAILY)
  • I-10 westbound right lane CLOSED for 1,300 feet at mile marker 15 (by Top Golf)

Loop 375 and US 54

• March 4 - March 5 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
  • EB Loop 375 Connector to NB US 54 CLOSED
  • WB Loop 375 to NB US 54 CLOSED
• March 5 - March 6 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
  • WB Loop 375 Connector to Gateway North Blvd CLOSED
  • Gateway North Blvd Connector to US 54 CLOSED
• March 6 - March 7 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
  • Gateway North Blvd Connector to EB I-10 CLOSED
• March 7 - March 8 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
  • Gateway North Blvd connector to NB US 54 CLOSED

Mesa Park Project

• March 5 - March 7 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • WB Executive exit ramp CLOSED
• March 6 - March 8 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • EB Executive ramp CLOSED

Guardrail Repair Projects

• March 4th 9 (a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • US 54 NB left lane CLOSED between Spaghetti Bowl and Trowbridge Exit
• March 6th (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • I-10 East left lane CLOSED between Artcraft and Redd Road
• March 7th (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • Wyoming EB left lane CLOSED between Mesa and Wyoming entrance ramp to I-10 east
• March 8th (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • US 54 SB right lane CLOSED between Stan Roberts Sr. Ave and Mesquite Hills

Westway Project

• March 4 - March 8 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
  • Anthony turnaround West to EB CLOSED
  • Alternate lane closures on I-10 East and WB at Vinton overpass
  • Vinton entrance ramp to I-10 OPEN
  • Westway Frontage Road CLOSED
