April is almost over but the construction all over El Paso is in full swing to get us to the finish line! Find out what major closures will be affecting your commute this week. Doesn’t matter when you’re traveling through the west side of El Paso, it looks like congestion is going to be an issue. Even the east side isn’t immune to traffic and headaches. With road closures, lane closures and more, El Paso traffic is getting worse before it gets any better. There will be some major freeway and road closures happening this week so make sure you are aware so you don’t get caught stuck in traffic.

I-10 EAST AT SUNLAND

June 5 & 6 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

  • I-10 East CLOSED at Sunland Park exit ramp

I-10 West at Sunland

June 4 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

  • I-10 West COMPLETELY CLOSED at Sunland Park exit ramp to Sunland Park entrance ramp

North Mesa

June 3-7 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

  • Right lane on eastbound North Mesa street CLOSED from Osborne to South Desert Boulevard

US 85 West

June 3 & 4 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

  • US85 westbound overpass will be CLOSED
  • Right lane on US 85 westbound overpass leading to CD lanes is CLOSED

I-10 West at Executive

June 3 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

  • I-10 West COMPLETELY CLOSED between Executive Center exit and Sunland Park entrance

I-10 East at Mesa

June 9 at 3 a.m. to June 10 at 6 a.m.

  • I-10 East COMPLETELY CLOSED from North Mesa Street to Sunland Park Drive
  • North Mesa entrance ramp to I-10 East CLOSED

I-10/Americas - Phase IV Project

Tuesday, June 4 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

  • I-10 Westbound CLOSED at Eastlake Boulevard
  • I-10 Westbound Loop 375 Northbound and Southbound connectors CLOSED

I-10 at Airway/ Viscount

June 3 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

  • I-10 Westbound CLOSED between Boulevard and Airway Boulevard
