Scheduled Construction And Road Closures For El Paso This Week

2019 may have just started but that hasn't stopped the continuous construction and road work happening. Find out what closures are coming. Doesn’t matter when you’re traveling through the west side of El Paso, it looks like congestion is going to be an issue. Even the east side isn’t immune to traffic and headaches. With road closures, lane closures and more, El Paso traffic is getting worse before it gets any better. There will be some major freeway and road closures happening this week so make sure you are aware so you don’t get caught stuck in traffic.

I-10 at Sunland Park

April 8 & 9 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m. NIGHTLY)

• I-10 West CLOSED between Sunland Park entrance and exit ramps
• Sunland Park Drive down to one lane each way on the overpass

April 10 & 11 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m. NIGHTLY)

• I-10 West CLOSED between Sunland Park entrance and exit ramps
• Sunland Park Drive down to one lane each way on the overpass

Oregon Street

Through April 9 at 5 a.m.

• Northbound from Loop 375 to 7th Street

U.S. 85

Friday, April 12 to Monday, April 15 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m. CONTINUOUS)

• Westbound and eastbound from Spur 1966 to San Francisco Street

Hawkins

Monday, April 8 to Friday, April 12 (9 p.m.-6 a.m.)

• Complete closure on Gateway east between Hawkins to Tony Lama
